| Description: | Born 12 March 1952 in Kibuye, Rwanda, Eliezer Niyitegeka, a former journalist and Minister of Information in the Interim Government was the leader of Interahamwe, policemen and soldiers who killed Tutsi in Gisovu, Kivumu, Rugarama, Bisesero, and on the hillside above Muyira. He was accused of committing genocide, arrested and sentenced to life imprisonment. |
